India’s Test season is about to start and the team has to play a two-match Test series against Bangladesh from September 19. After this series, Team India has to host New Zealand for a three-match Test series and then play the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. Later, he also had to undergo surgery, due to which he could not play the Duleep Trophy as well. However, now Shardul has completed his post-surgery recovery and is ready to show his flair on the field once again.

He recently participated in the match for Mumbai against KSCA Secretary 11 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. However, his performance there was not very special. Shardul faced two balls in batting in this match and then got out without scoring any runs, while on Sunday he gave 29 runs in eight overs and during this he did not get any wicket.

Shifted from Mumbai to Lucknow, the Irani Cup 2024 will be held at the Ekana Stadium from October 1 to 5. It will feature Mumbai, who won the recent season of the Ranji Trophy, and Rest of India. Shardul Thakur is also expected to be seen in this match, who can be a part of the Mumbai team.
